About You

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years’ experience managing large food and beverage teams and multiple events.
  • A strong focus on banqueting is advantageous.
  • A natural leader who motivates and mentors younger team members.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A creative, progressive mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a current Duty Manager’s Licence.
  • What You’ll Do

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of supervisors and floor staff to deliver world‑class food and beverage service.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of banquets – from intimate gatherings to large‑scale events – with a hands‑on approach.
  • Manage rosters and workforce planning to ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure every event space is ready to impress, every time.
  • Champion safety and create an environment where your team can thrive.

    This is a hands‑on leadership position that requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends. If you’re passionate about creating exceptional experiences and ready to lead a team in one of New Zealand’s premier venues, we’d love to hear from you.
