Job Description

Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role

This is a permanent, full-time position with the following hours of work :

  • Monday - Friday : 9 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

As a Stockroom Team Member, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our stock is organized and ready for sale. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient stockroom will be key to our success.

Candidates with F endorsed or full New Zealand driver's license are preferred as operating a forklift is a requirement of the role (we can send team members on a training course to gain a forklift endorsement).

Your responsibilities will include the following :

  • Ensuring all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines.
  • Ensure the stockroom area is swept and maintained.
  • Manage palettes and stock being delivered appropriately using a forklift.
  • Processing recycling and other waste correctly.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Understand the importance of positive team dynamics.
  • You'll also understand the importance of teamwork and will contribute to positive working relationships with our Shopfloor and Fill teams.

    To excel in this role, you ideally have :

  • Interest in stockroom coordination
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
