Working for The Bureau will mean that you have the opportunity to work across a range of wards at both hospitals, Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Community Hospital, and really utilise your healthcare experience.

You’ll also have an opportunity to build on your current skills by working across services you’ve never worked in before.

You’ll be supported by a great orientation package, ongoing education and a nurse educator designated to The Bureau. We are committed to supporting your development by moving you through services in a structured way that allows you to deepen and broaden your skills.

Working as a permanent health care assistant with us means you will be working from both sites CCDHB has, Kenepuru Community Hospital and Wellington Regional Hospital on rostered and rotating shifts.

Skills and Experience

  • NZQA Level 3 Health and Wellbeing or equivalent
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
