Field Merchandiser - Stratford / Hawera

Overview

To continually have a focus on shelf availability, we are looking for a Field Merchandiser to join our team.

As a Merchandiser for Goodman Fielder, you will primarily work by yourself, need to have good time management and enjoy keeping fit while you work.

Ultimately the role is to ensure Goodman Fielder products are displayed on shelf and ready to purchase.

You will be working with a range of product including but not limited to milk, cheese, yoghurts and bread.

Responsibilities

Hours and location : Thursday – Saturday, 5.30am – 3.30pm, total 27 hours per week.

Location varies between Stratford and Hawera.

You will also have a company vehicle.

Be physically fit; continuous lifting of product weighing up to 12 kg (e.g., milk crates or full racks of bread) to place product on shelf.

Work on your feet throughout the shift.

Be organized and enjoy customer interaction within a supermarket environment.

Hold a valid driver's license (Restricted or above) as you will travel to different stores.

Build relationships and maintain open communication with your Supervisor and at store level on a regular basis.

Health & Safety and Training

Health and safety is paramount; full ongoing training is provided, as well as uniforms and personal protective gear.

From time to time, you may receive product samples to take home so you can learn what we make and sell.
