Overview

The College is seeking a highly organised, ‘people’ person for the role of HR Co‑ordinator. This is a full‑time position. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the business objectives of the College by working in conjunction with the HR Manager in the delivery of HR compliance and the development of HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business objectives of the College by working with the HR Manager.
  • Deliver HR compliance and the development of HR initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate qualification / s (HR, management, business administration etc.) and / or significant experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR management and the implementation of HR policy, practices and processes, EEO, H&S and so on.
  • Experience with HR administration and HR processes and practice, including recruitment and selection.
  • Knowledge of New Zealand employment law.
  • Be experienced with effectively setting up and using an HRIS platform.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Payroll functions.
  • Experience working within a school environment would be advantageous.
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office programmes.
  • An understanding of multicultural issues.
  • Personable, friendly and approachable.
  • The right to live and work in New Zealand is required.
