The Senior Modern Work & Platforms Engineer is responsible for designing and deploying complex, enterprise-grade solutions for both new and existing customers. This role requires a high level of autonomy, technical depth, and consulting expertise. Senior Engineers are trusted advisors who stay ahead of technology trends, industry standards, and best practices to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.

As technical experts across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, data protection and virtualisation platforms, and automation solutions. Senior Engineers bring both technical and commercial understanding to engagements. With a consulting lens, they are expected to interpret business processes and drivers, including non-technical factors to contribute solutions that provide real value for our customers

This is a hands-on, broad role working with our delivery, sales and project management teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.

What You\'ll Be Doing

Design and implement secure, scalable modern workplace solutions (M365 productivity services, M365 data classification, Secure Identity using Entra ID, secure end-user compute and virtualisation, automation and AI services)

Consult with clients to understand business goals and deliver technical outcomes that make sense

Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality work on time, manage scope and contribute to budget discussions with our PMO

Support pre-sales conversations, helping shape the “how” behind client ambitions

Contribute to product and strategy discussions to influence future direction

Transition solutions to our operations team with clarity and care

Mentor and support peers and junior engineers within the wider team or across teams

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s confident, curious, and technically sharp. You’ll likely tick most of these boxes :

7+ years as a Modern Work, L3 Engineer or similar

Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise environments

Comfortable being customer-facing, via consulting or operations - from SMB through to large enterprise customers

Deep understanding of M365 products, Entra ID and related identity & access services, M365 data management products

Familiarity with security and compliance best practices in cloud and collaboration environments

Excellent communication skills and able to adapt technical language for different audiences

A self-starter mindset with comfort owning solutions from design through to delivery
