Industrial Electrician or Electrical Technician – Dunedin Based

We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Industrial Electrician / Technician to join our Dunedin crew!

This is a dynamic, site‑focused role that spans multiple disciplines, including electrical installation, maintenance, automation, and instrumentation.

You’ll be required to travel and work on‑site across the South Island, often within demanding industrial environments. The role offers hands‑on variety and the opportunity to build advanced skills in electrical design and automation technologies.

This is a permanent, full‑time gig — we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us for the long haul.

What You’ll be Doing

• Getting hands‑on with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Planning, wiring, inspecting, and keeping electrical systems in top shape — from light circuits to motor controls.
• Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, PLC I / O, and instrumentation drawings.
• Troubleshoot and maintain motor control systems, including VSDs and soft starters.
• Assist with PLC / HMI interrogation and automation support.
• Completing risk assessments before starting work — safety first!
• Filling out the required COCs and ESCs (we know you love the paperwork
