We have a great opportunity for a senior environmental scientist to join our growing
environmental science
team.
The role involves assessing contaminants in land, water, and air for projects ranging from residential subdivisions and commercial developments to large-scale infrastructure projects.
The ideal applicant should possess the following skills and experience :
a tertiary qualification in environmental science, geology, chemistry, or similar
a postgraduate degree in a related discipline (advantageous)
being a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) and working towards becoming a Site Contamination Specialist
minimum of eight years relevant experience, domestic or international
ability to lead land contamination assessment projects with team support
lead and undertake land contamination analysis, including field investigation techniques
prepare technical assessments for environmental projects such as subdivision and resource consent applications
mentor junior staff in technical and professional development
seek new work opportunities and lead proposal preparations
maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
