About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our Drainage Team as a crew lead.

This may include :

  • Leading a small Drainage Crew to deliver work on the DCC network
  • Owning the job from start to completion
  • Meeting and exceeding KPI’s,
  • Improving operational efficiency
  • Promoting team learning and development, asset management and achieving our goals in health and safety, quality and environment.

What you’ll need

  • A thorough understanding of Drainage of Civil and Domestic is essential for this role!
  • Being a Registered Drainlayer is a requirement.
  • Being a competent Digger Operator would be of benefit.
  • Relevant experience in ensuring that jobs run to schedule and to require quality levels.
  • Health, safety and environmental experience.
  • The ability to solve problems / make decisions and communicate these effectively.
  • A full class 1 licence is essential.
  • All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
