1FTMU (Healthy Active Learning)
We are seeking committed and collaborative kaiako to join our teaching team at Templeton School - Te Kura o Rātā.
We are looking for two dynamic teachers who are after a new and exciting challenge. We currently have two permanent positions available in our middle (Y2-4) and senior (Y5–8) areas of the school.
We are looking to appoint the right people, who will thrive within our teaching team. The successful applicants will be supported by a collaborative and collegial staff and a supportive Board.
You need to have proven skills in building strong relationships, working in collaborative teams and in delivering a child-centred curriculum. We are seeking energetic and innovative professionals, with the ability to create a positive and empowering learning culture. High expectations of self and children, initiative and a sense of humour are highly valued qualities in our kura.
The position commences Tuesday 3 February, 2026.
Interested candidates are welcome to book a school tour with a member of our leadership team.
One of these positions offers 1 fixed term unit to support in leading our Healthy Active Learning kaupapa. Strengths in sports and physical education will be an advantage for this position.
