Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Vineyard Operator based in Marlborough.

The role focuses primarily on vineyard machinery operation, while also carrying out a wide range of vineyard maintenance tasks to support the overall care and performance of the vineyard.

Responsibilities

Safe and efficient operation of vineyard machinery and equipment.

General vineyard maintenance and repairs, including irrigation and trellis infrastructure.

Supporting seasonal vineyard operations as required.

Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in vineyard work or a farming / agriculture background preferred but not a must.

Machinery operation experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Practical skills in vineyard maintenance, irrigation, or general farm repairs.

Ability to work outdoors year-round and adapt to seasonal requirements.

Strong work ethic with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to use technology (e.g., mobile apps for timesheets, job tracking, or communication).

Full New Zealand driver's licence, with the ability to confidently drive manual transmission vehicles (essential).
