• Experience with or working knowledge of 3D modelling and data

• Knowledge of hardware communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB).

• Building Construction Field SystemsAs a Software Engineer in the Building Construction Field Systems (BCFS) division, part of the Field Systems segment at Trimble, you will be part of a small but dynamic, high-performing engineering team that is responsible for delivering leading-edge Reality Capture solutions for Trimble's customers across multiple disciplines. Our solutions enable customers to bring their data to life with Augmented Reality, visualising and exploring complex information with unrivalled accuracy - customer testimonials such as and are examples of the difference our work makes around the world. You will be responsible for delivering exciting and innovative software solutions to meet requirements defined at a high level. This involves :
• Integrating our software with industry-leading, high-precision Geospatial hardware
• Working with the latest developments in mobile device technologies, particularly Android and iOS advancements
• Demonstrating fundamental software engineering skills as part of the development process, providing engineering predictability, scheduling and the quality of products that Trimble’s users expect
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with the development team, the application domain experts, and other software developers across the broader organisation, to develop against loosely defined requirements. In-person collaboration is a big part of our daily lives!
