The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a keen eye for modern editing techniques that enhance viewer engagement. The role involves editing short‑form videos for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, utilizing dynamic cuts, creative transitions, and cinematic text overlays. The position is remote, project‑based, and offers the potential for ongoing collaboration beyond the initial assignment.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble video footage into polished, high‑quality social media videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Apply advanced editing techniques, including speed ramps, masking, time‑remapping, and match cuts to create dynamic, visually appealing content
- Incorporate cinematic titles and lower‑thirds using MOGRT or After Effects templates (e.g., AEJuice)
- Perform light sound cleanup and basic color correction, applying provided LUTs as needed
- Prepare final deliverables as horizontal 16 : 9 masters, optimized for social media platforms
- Collaborate remotely, adhering to project timelines and feedback
