• We sat down with our Head of Financial Markets Oversight, BNZ who let us know the following about the role :
• Help ensure BNZ Markets risk framework is aligned with market best practice. This could include providing insights into industry and regulatory developments, analysing external events, performing gap analysis, and identifying potential ways to further strengthen BNZ Markets’ risk control environment.
• Coordinate compilation of the Markets Risk Forum pack, helping ensure the content meets stakeholder expectations and supports the Accountable Executive and GM, Markets in their duty to ensure the prudent management of Financial Markets Risk for BNZ.
• Peer analysis of BNZ Markets and Treasury risk metrics, providing insights and commentary on any observations.This role helps support the Accountable Executive and GM, Markets in ensuring the prudent management of financial markets risks for BNZ. !
• Ideally you will have 2 years+ experience in a C&IB / Markets, Treasury, Quantitative, or broader Risk Management function, but we are open to other backgrounds!
• Analytical skills, including the ability to disseminate technical information and articulate the key messages to stakeholders.
• Strong numerate skills, attention to detail, thoroughness and timeliness.You will be joining a high performing team that is always striving for excellence.
