Credit Controller

We are looking for an experienced credit controller to join our finance team and take responsibility for managing a debtor ledger, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

What you will do

Reporting to the General Manager you will play a key role in managing the debt collection process, ensuring all outstanding accounts are followed up promptly and professionally, while maintaining a positive relationship with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include

• Daily monitoring, managing and processing of customer accounts
• Managing outstanding debts and overdue accounts
• Negotiating and setting up payment options in conjunction with Account Managers
• Maintaining and managing the PPSR - financial instrument registry for the company
• Resolving issues both with customers and internal teams
• Referring accounts for external collection when necessary
• Month end reporting

Skills & experience

You will bring solid experience within accounts receivables and credit control. You’ll be confident working with numbers, using technology such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Business Central (or equivalent ERP system), and general office applications, organised under pressure, work both independently and collaboratively, and comfortable managing competing priorities. You will be a strong communicator with an approachable and professional style that will help you build trust and ensure that customers stay on track.
