Mo tenei turanga mahi / The Opportunity

We\'re seeking an experienced Senior Registrar to lead academic admin, ensure compliance, manage SELMA / ITR reporting, and oversee the Registrar's daily operations.

This role will also see you manage the Registrar whilst overseeing their daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure accurate, compliant academic data and student records

Understanding of the funding conditions

Manage and optimise the Student Management System -SELMA and ITR

Lead reporting to NZQA, TEC and other stakeholders within NZSEG

Drive continuous improvement and data-informed decision making

Pull reports and analyse data using Power BI

Tertiary qualification in education, business or similar

Strong experience in academic administration within NZ's tertiary sector

Deep understanding of NZQA and TEC frameworks

Proficiency with SMS platforms and data analysis tools (e.g., ITR Systems , SELMA, Power BI, Excel)

Previous leadership experience in managing small teams
