Senior Analytics Developer

About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analytics Developer to join our growing IS team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

We're on the lookout for a proactive and experienced professional who will bring strong expertise in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure to the table.You will be responsible for ETL development, gathering reporting requirements, and understanding business processes to deliver effective data and analytics solutions.

This role works closely with Subject Matter Experts, Project Managers and both IS Development teams to provide data services across the business.ResponsibilitiesDevelop ETL processes and data warehouse solutions to support diverse projects.Build and maintain data visualisation and reporting solutions using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.Gather and analyse reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Maintain high data quality standards and provide advice and support across projects.Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service providers to deliver analytics outcomes.Qualifications / Skills5+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, ETL development, data modelling, and reporting.Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Power BI, Power Query, DAX.Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments is highly desirable.Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Experience in agile development environments and working with distributed teams.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in the manufacturing industry and knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA is a plus.This is your chance to work with cutting-edge Microsoft BI technologies in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your analytics expertise will directly impact business decisions and growth.Applicants outside of New Zealand will only be considered if you have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.About UsSynlait is a dynamic, purpose-led milk nutrition company that is Doing Milk Differently for a Healthier World!
