Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to the menu
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Assist in the inventory management and stock rotation of kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with senior chefs to learn and implement new cooking techniques
- Participate in the creation of new menu items and specials
Skills
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresFamiliarity with food safety and hygiene regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressureGood knife skills and ability to use kitchen equipment safely and effectivelyStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamBasic knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques.Benefits
