About Churton School
We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our team at Churton School in term 1, 2026. We are situated along the beautiful Whanganui Awa and the Churton Values of Manākitanga / Respect, Manawanui / Resilience and Whanaungatanga / Relationships are the foundation for our educational approach.

The successful applicant will be forward thinking and adaptable, and be able to provide a culturally responsive learning environment, where diversity is celebrated. A willingness and commitment to sharing and extending your knowledge in Te Ao Māori and Matauranga Māori is essential. A strong knowledge base for Structured literacy would be an advantage.
