We are seeking a Kaiako to deliver our Kawai Raupapa Visual Arts (Rauangi) L4 programme, which involves but is not limited to : developing lesson plans, presenting material to tauira (students), responding to tauira learning needs, and evaluating tauira progress.
You will be responsible for recruiting and inducting tauira, implementing effective teaching and assessment strategies, monitoring academic progress, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with TWoA and NZQA requirements. Creating a collaborative, inclusive and culturally grounded learning environment will be essential to the success of this role.
This is a Fixed Term (Jan 26- Dec 26) position, based out of Te Ao Marama, Porirua campus. Some flexibility will be required to work some weekends and evenings.

You will have sound knowledge and teaching experience within the Visual Arts (Rauangi) field to deliver our Kawai Raupapa Programme. You will need to have the ability to facilitate application of principle and theory into contextualised practice, apply tikanga Maori appropriate to Visual Arts (Rauangi), and be a critical, conceptual and self-reflective practitioner.
