Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance and repair operations for water supply, wastewater, and stormwater networks, delivering safe, compliant and efficient service to the community.
• Supervise, motivate, and develop diverse maintenance teams, promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
• Oversee planned and reactive works, allocate resources effectively, and ensure jobs are completed to high standards and within agreed timeframes.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, undertaking regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings.
• Coordinate closely with asset owners, project managers, contractors, and the public to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Monitor asset condition, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to continuous process and safety improvements in 3 Waters operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, incidents, and site conditions; manage basic reporting and compliance documentation.
• Respond to urgent call-outs and after-hours emergencies as required to maintain essential water operations.
