Kaiako Maraurau – Teacher | Permanent | Full-time

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic kaiako to join our teams in supporting tamariki and whanau to achieve their full potential.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

is a strong advocate for tamariki

understands Te Tiriti o Waitangi based partnerships with tamariki and whanau

demonstrates a commitment to Te Reo Maori me ona Tikanga

embraces a culture of strong health, safety, aroha, mana, tiaki, and manaaki

has an awareness of the culture of child protection

is dedicated to supporting the social and emotional growth of tamariki

is willing to create and maintain strong relationships with the wider community and outside agencies

demonstrates a growth mindset

Requirements For This Role

entitled to work in Aotearoa, New Zealand

level 7 teaching qualification specialising in ECE

hold a current practising certificate

hold a valid first aid certification – level 1 or higher
