About the Role

The OCD Delivery Lead is a strategic partner that provides support to uplift regional and district Organisational Development capability with the provision of expert advice, implementation of key Health NZ programmes, enabling facilitation and coaching to support the organisational development needs of districts.

The OCD Lead is the champion and vital connector across districts in the region, ensuring teams, leaders, and workforces are informed and can prioritise and access key Health New Zealand development programmes within their areas. By offering advice and guidance to leaders, it connects across all aspects of organisational culture and development, with a strong emphasis on utilising online learning and engagement tools.

About you

You will have :

  • Significant experience, in the range of 8+ years' in an organisational development or learning role designing, developing and delivering validated and well researched programmes for a large (
  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
  • Ability to work with national strategic direction and processes while enabling local and regional implementation to ensure consistency
  • Knowledge and ability to select, adapt and use a range of learning and organisational development frameworks, principles, tools and methods and draw on experience in different areas of expertise to apply them appropriately to given issues.
  • Proven experience in collaborative approach methods working with stakeholders to identify learning needs and tailor solutions accordingly for large scale roll outs.
  • Excellent relationship management skills including the ability to influence and confidently operate at executive level and throughout Health NZ. Evidence of excellent facilitation skills in both face-to-face and online settings and a variety of group sizes, with a focus on complex organisational development challenges
  • Evidence of critical thinking and analytical ability to support generation of meaningful insights to support continuous improvement and well researched approaches. Proven ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience in working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver culture uplift
  • Ability to mentor where necessary and work collaboratively with OC&D delivery partners such as HR Business Partners and other wider team members
