We are seeking an energetic leader of learning of physical education, outdoor education and health to lead the development of our physical education, outdoor education and health programme. This full-time position begins in 2026 and offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow this important learning area at our kura.

We may be small in size, but our aspirations are anything but. Our ākonga are at the heart of everything we do, and we take pride in the strong, positive relationships we build with our students and their whānau. We are looking for someone who can create a vibrant, engaging programme that challenges, inspires and excites our students.

We are looking for someone who :

• Has a clear vision for physical education and health and can lead its growth in our school
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and supports others through professional sharing and guidance
• Is committed to restorative practices and culturally responsive teaching, ensuring every ākonga is seen and valued
• Is ready to immerse themselves in the vibrant life of our school and wider community
• Has a proven track record of teaching up to NCEA Level 3
• It would be advantageous if you can teach up to Level 3 Outdoor Education but not necessary
