Role : Full-Time Cook (30+ hours per week)

Location : The Catlins Café & Bakehouse Takeaways, 3 Main Road, Owaka

Pay Rate : $23.50 – $30.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Hours : Flexible roster including some weekends and evenings

Business Hours : Monday – Sunday, 8 : 00am – 8 : 00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals to café and takeaway standards
• Ensure all dishes are presented consistently and to a high quality
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
• Assist in menu development, food prep, and stock control
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Support and collaborate with the café team to ensure smooth service
• Occasionally assist with baking and food prep for the front counter
