About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coder (Competent level or above, per the Clinical Coding Framework) for a fixed-term, full-time role. While the position is based at Hawkes Bay Hospital, we offer flexible working arrangements, including full remote work for suitable candidates. Youll be joining a supportive and focused team committed to delivering high-quality coding services.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Clinical Coding Team works with scanned, paper, and electronic health records to accurately code all inpatient episodes of care. We use the latest 3M Encoder Software and follow National Coding Standards, with a strong focus on ongoing education and training.
