Talent Right has partnered exclusively with Unicrest Group, the parent company behind Shadowspec, a world-class brand renowned for designing premium outdoor umbrellas used by luxury resorts, clubs, and homes across New Zealand, Australia, and around the globe.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join the team in Whangarei and help shape the ongoing Shadowspec story.
You'll be part of a creative, forward-thinking business where innovation and design excellence are at the heart of everything they do.
About the Role
In this role, you'll bring together your skills in graphic design, social media management, and content creation to support the business's marketing initiatives across multiple brands and channels.
You'll manage day-to-day marketing activities, collaborate with the company's digital agency on campaigns, and help shape how Unicrest's story is shared with customers locally and abroad.
You'll be part of a small, high-performing internal marketing team that values creativity, independence, and collaboration.
The team partners with an Auckland-based digital agency for performance ads, while you'll take the lead in managing design projects, social content, and overall brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Create and update marketing materials, brochures, and digital assets that elevate the Shadowspec brand.
Design engaging social media content and ad copy that aligns with campaign goals.
Collaborate with the external digital agency on performance advertising and Google Ads.
Manage Shadowspec's online presence across social platforms, ensuring consistency of voice and tone.
Assist with photo and video content for use across marketing campaigns and partner communications.
Coordinate marketing materials for trade shows and brand events.
Contribute ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness and visual storytelling.
About You
You're a creative, proactive, and organised marketer with an eye for detail and a natural flair for design.
You enjoy the mix of creativity and strategy from designing visuals to running campaigns, and have the confidence to manage multiple tasks at once.
You will bring :
2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a design-led or premium product environment.
Proven graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
Strong social media management experience, including content planning and ad creation.
Confidence working across multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Excellent written and visual communication skills.
A can-do attitude, initiative, and a genuine passion for creative work.
Bonus : Familiarity with Shopify, Google Ads, or digital campaign coordination.
