OverviewNational Hood & Duct Cleaning Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to join our business, cleaning filters and grease extraction systems for commercial kitchens.Experience with commercial HVAC or air conditioning systems would be helpful.Day & Evening Shifts, Transport provided, All training provided (Heights, first aid and more).

We are committed to providing a safe working environment.ResponsibilitiesCleaning of grease extraction systems in commercial restaurants, including filters, flues, ducting, rooftop fans and hoods.

This involves some lifting, working at height and industrial cleaning.Driving between our clients premises will be required, with some long distance travel.Adherence to health and safety guidelines and security procedures.

Daily equipment checks at end of shifts.Keeping service records and managing schedule on a shared calendar.

Regular reporting, and communication with management.Days and hours vary, as these are dependent on each cafe or restaurant served, mainly Monday to Friday.Vehicle provided for business use.

Some travel within the North & South Island may be required - Vehicle, accommodation and travel allowances provided.There are opportunities for advancement to a team leader or supervisory position.About YouMature-minded & flexible individual.

Full NZ drivers licence, no criminal convictions and be willing to agree to a police check and / or drug test.Must be comfortable with working at height-roofs.

Training cert provided.You must have a relevant NZ work permit before applying.Strong work ethic with high standards and an eye for detail.Resourceful, able to use your initiative and have a positive can-do attitude.Able to work productively and self-motivate with minimal supervision.Confident driver at night and over long distances.Good communicator, with the team, management and customers.Fit, healthy and capable of the physical demands of the role.No qualifications required, but previous experience would be helpful.ApplicationYour application will include the following questions : Do you have a clean / current New Zealand driver's licence?
