About the Team / Service / Location
Our Radiation Oncology department operates on the Eclipse planning system with four linear accelerators delivering advanced treatments, including rotational IMRT and cone beam CT image guidance.
We utilize TrueBeam, HyperArc, and Halcyon technologies, and are leaders in HDR brachytherapy, stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SABR), and total skin electron therapy.
Our team collaborates with eight medical oncologists, nine haematologists, ten radiation oncologists, and five palliative care physicians, serving a regional population of approximately 750,000 across Waikato Hospital and outpatient clinics in Hamilton, Thames, Rotorua, and Gisborne.
About You
Qualifications satisfying the Medical Council of New Zealand for vocational registration and a valid driver license.
Competency in te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori, or a commitment to learning and growth in these areas.
Experience in applying Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori frameworks within healthcare.
