Maeroa Intermediate is a large inner-city school that celebrates and challenges emerging adolescents.

We seek an energetic teacher who understands and enjoys working with this age group and their unique characteristics.

An ability to connect with students in ways that affirm their strengths and encourage personal and academic growth, and a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and whanau.

The applicant must be willing to contribute to schoolwide activities, have a sense of humour, and be able to connect positively with staff and the community.

We offer an effective mentoring programme for beginning teachers interested in starting their career in an intermediate school setting, and we welcome your enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
