Build strategic relationships and develop insights to creatively grow the portfolio with solutions that add value to your customers' workplaces.

Partnering with nationally based businesses and senior decision makers across the Trade and Industrial sector, in this role you will build and maintain strategic relationships with their head office to develop and hunt out new opportunities to support those businesses to operate more easily.

Understanding how your customer operates will be key to your success! Provide advice and purposeful strategic solutions within OfficeMax's range to creatively grow our share of wallet, focusing on growth, retention, and profitability.

You will be supported by a dedicated sales support team and a supportive sales environment. You will also report to our Sector Lead, T&I.

Please note, we are open to any South Island location for the right candidate.

As Our New Enterprise Account Manager, You Will

  • Be responsible for growth and retention of your customer portfolio
  • Strategically partner with key decision makers to deliver exceptional value for OfficeMax and our customers
  • Build and maintain key relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed financial targets within your customer portfolio
  • Identify and convert sales, margin, and growth opportunities
  • Oversee the fulfillment of customer contracts and compliance
  • Formulate and execute business cases for account retention and growth
  • Respond to RFPs and tender requests, including preparing customer presentations
  • To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to secure commercial contracts
  • Expert negotiation management skills
  • At least 5 years' experience in account management roles
  • Ability to identify appropriate market opportunities and proven sales success dealing with multilevel strategic decision makers such as CFOs, Procurement leads, and Site Managers
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including formal presentations
  • Confidence using cloud-based CRM tools and office applications
  • Previous experience with T&I industries would be an added bonus
