Nga Korero mo tenei turanga / About the roleAs a Senior Manager in our Tax & Enterprise team, you'll play a key role in leading client engagements and providing high-quality advice across a range of tax matters - including corporate, international, M&A, compliance and strategy.

You'll work with iconic New Zealand brands, global corporates, private businesses, entrepreneurs, and HNW individuals.What you'll do : Client leadership - Act as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters, deepen client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions.Engagement delivery - Lead multiple client projects, manage budgets, ensure high-quality and timely outcomes, and contribute to growth opportunities.Technical expertise - Provide guidance on corporate tax, international tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and M&A, staying across evolving legislation and regulatory requirements.People leadership - Manage and develop a team of tax professionals, mentor junior staff, and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.Contribution to strategy - Support the direction of the Tax & Enterprise team by contributing insights and identifying opportunities in the market.Risk management - Ensure compliance with PwC's standards and policies while helping clients mitigate tax-related risks.Nga pukenga kei a koe / Skills and experience7+ years' experience in tax advisory with team leadership responsibilities.Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification desirable.Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and complex tax issues.Strong technical knowledge of New Zealand and international tax.Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi ki PwC / Highlights of working at PwC NZBest-in-class leadership programmes and access to our global networkWorld-class upskilling in AI tools with training and guardrailsWellbeing that counts : life & income protection, 15 days' sick leave, Sonder / EAP / HeadspaceFlexibility that fits : Dress for your day, enhanced leave (incl. option to purchase extra), two recognition daysWhanau & community : paid parental leave for all parents, volunteering leave, inclusive employee networks; plus discretionary and referral bonusesMo te aha tau e tatari ana?
