About the role

Centrally located in the heart of Auckland CBD, the award-winning boutique Fable Auckland Hotel is looking for a passionate Food and Beverage Attendant to deliver outstanding services at the forefront of our hotel.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest service experiences in our F&B venue. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will provide exceptional customer service, contributing to our high level of customer satisfaction at Cooke's Restaurant and Bar. You will build genuine and authentic connections with every guest. Your ability to promote products and services is essential, and you have immaculate personal presentation and excellent communication skills.

This role will enable you to elevate your Food & Beverage career within a 5-star hotel environment.

Responsibilities include :

  • Deliver Front of House services in the restaurant
  • Assist the bar services and deliver beverages
  • Support the preparations of conference and function services
  • Connect with guests and upsell Hotel's products
  • Ensure that the venue is kept clean at all time
  • Assist with other departments such as Kitchen and Front Office as needed
  • Understand the company policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of other staff members and guests

Skills and Requirements :

  • Previous experience and success in a similar F&B role
  • The ability to professionally greet and serve guests as well as providing premium-standard table service
  • The ability to multi-task
  • The ability to carry multiple plates at once
  • Bartending and barista skills are advantageous
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately at all times
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts across all 7 days a week, including morning, evening, weekends and public holidays
  • New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a current valid work visa is essential!
