Music Producer – Freelancer (Contractor)

This opportunity is for a skilled music producer to collaborate on an album project for an independent artist. The project is fully remote, offering flexibility in approach and creative input. The artist is in the early planning and research phase, seeking a producer who can guide the process from concept to completion. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in album production, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to estimate timelines and manage deliverables for a single, larger-scale project.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the artist to define the album’s creative direction and sound
  • Oversee all aspects of music production, including arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering
  • Advise on song structure, instrumentation, and overall sonic identity
  • Coordinate remote recording sessions and manage file transfers
  • Provide regular progress updates and adapt to feedback throughout the project
  • Ensure the final album meets professional quality standards and is ready for distribution

Skills And Requirements
