Vet Nurse (Start ASAP)

Join VetSouth’s Invercargill Companion Animal Team as a Veterinary Nurse, providing surgical and clinical care while making a difference for animals, clients, and the community.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include :

• Surgical nursing, including hospital preparation / care, anaesthetics, and animal handling
• Vet nurse consults and client education
• Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples
• Digital radiography and imaging
• Fluid therapy and IV catheter placement
• Participation in the weeknight and weekend on-call roster as part of the Companion Animal Team
