Delivery Drivers and Operations Manager

We are a busy and fast-growing courier company seeking reliable and motivated Courier / Delivery Drivers and an Operations Manager to join our team full time. Key Responsibilities for Delivery Drivers

Safely deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes within the designated region.

Follow assigned delivery routes and time schedules.

Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles.

Complete required logs, reports, and job sheets accurately.

Use delivery apps and technology to manage deliveries and provide real-time updates to customers.

Meet strict delivery deadlines while handling goods with care and respect.

Obtain proof of delivery, including customer signatures.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Role Requirements for Delivery Driver

A full and clean Class 1 NZ driver’s licence or a valid international driving licence equivalent to New Zealand driving licence

Previous experience in courier or delivery driving is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Strong time management and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry goods safely.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities for Delivery Operations Manager

Plan, coordinate, and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.

Supervise, train, and support a team of Courier / Delivery Drivers.

Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance with company policies.

Ensure all operations meet Health & Safety and legal requirements.

Use logistics software and delivery apps to track performance, allocate routes, and manage exceptions.

Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.

Prepare and maintain operational reports and records.

Work closely with management to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Role Requirements  for Delivery Operations Manager

At least 2 year of relevant industry experience or a relevant qualification.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency with delivery management apps, scheduling systems, or similar technology.

Physically fit and able to support operational requirements as needed.

A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 1 essential)
