Quality Assurance Officer

Oranutrition Limited is a rapid growing healthcare products manufacturer based at Wiri, Auckland.

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Quality Assurance Officer with a tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, Nutrition to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Organisation and administration of retention samples, stability samples, and controlled documents
• Microbiological sampling of areas, equipment, and products, and assisting with microbial and environmental monitoring
• Experience in food manufacturing environment for exports would be ideal
• High attention to detail which ensure that all the declarations and permits including product labels meet regulatory and company requirements
• Inspects the facility to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained in order to meet food safety requirements
• Coordinate and support on site audits conducted by external providers
• Prepare reports, compile, and maintain records on product quality status and inspections that have been conducted
• Provide recommendations on procedures, standards, and equipment to maintain product quality
• Report findings clearly and elevate any quality concerns or non-compliance issues
