CloudSquared is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider who puts our customers, and their business requirements at the heart of what we do. On the back of steady, sustainable growth, we're expanding our Managed Services team with a Mid-Senior IT Support Engineer.

About the Role

This role operates across both the support and project teams, providing advanced technical support, managing client systems, and contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure and cloud projects.

You’ll work directly with regular clients on-site and remotely, acting as a trusted technical partner while ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and optimized. The position offers a mix of hands‑on troubleshooting, client relationship management, and involvement in modernization and migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 and 3 support for escalated incidents via the MSP ticketing system and remote monitoring tools.
  • Manage, maintain, and secure Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and Azure AD environments across multiple clients.
  • Administer Intune for endpoint deployment, policy management, and compliance enforcement.
  • Deliver scheduled on‑site visits for key clients, handling proactive maintenance, user support, and environment checks.
  • Assist or lead in client projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, network deployments, and security implementations.
  • Monitor client systems through RMM tools, respond to alerts, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Support and maintain hybrid and cloud infrastructure, including Azure VMs, networking, and storage.
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity controls such as MFA, conditional access, Defender, patching, and backups.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate client documentation within the MSP system including asset lists, network diagrams, and credentials.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk and Project Teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and dependable service.

What you will bring :

We are looking for a proactive and personable IT Support Engineer who is just as comfortable with talking to clients as they are in the tech. You will be calm under pressure, able to juggle competing priorities and enjoy solving complex problems. You approach your work collaboratively and are always willing to help the wider team out when necessary. Some of the skills and experience you will need to be successful in the role are;

  • 5+ years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT support environment.
  • Proven technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and Azure AD administration.
  • Hands‑on experience with Intune, device management, and compliance policies.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10 / 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and common business applications.
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in complex, multi-client environments.
  • Experience with RMM, PSA, and ticketing systems such as Datto, N‑able, ConnectWise, or Autotask.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and client‑facing skills.
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell or similar automation tools.
  • Knowledge of backup, monitoring, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Familiarity with server technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper‑V, or Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Microsoft or CompTIA certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator, or Network+.
