About the Role
Ashburton and Rural Health Services is anAssociate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) to take up a key role in supporting themanagerial functions of their respective Nurse Managers and providing strongclinical leadership to staff. This ACNM position is forAcute &Inpatient Services.
Within the ward and community environments, theACNM is tasked rostering and staff allocation. They work on the ground;that is, not only do they coordinate staffing and nursing care, they are alsothe direct point of contact for staff requiring clinical guidance and providedirection in service procedures and processes. The ACNM is the key implementerof the Nurse Manager's strategic plan, both in respects of ensuring the optimumutilisation of staff and resources across their respective services, but alsoin coaching and building the capability of staff. As such, they support theNurse Manager in carrying out performance reviews and development plans.

One of only four level three rural hospitals in theSouth Island, and the largest rural health facility in Canterbury, Ashburtonand Rural Health Services provide a range of Inpatient, Day patient, Outpatientand Community based services to the community.
