Landscape Gardener

Multiple Positions :

Must have full Driver’s License with relevant driving endorsements.

Must meet all the Immigration New Zealand requirements to obtain a New Zealand visa if required.

Heavy lifting .

Applicant must be physically fit in order to be recruited for this role.

A pre-employment medical and drug test will be a part of the recruitment process.

Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends

• Must be able to prepare and maintain seedbeds and growing sites.
• Must be able to propagate and planting trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs
• Must be able to prepare lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass, and by laying instant turf.
• Must be able to maintain planted and grassed areas by weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering and mowing.
• Must be able to prune trees and hedges and installing plant support and protection devices.
• Must be able to plant, mulch, weed, hedge trim, spray, and general garden maintenance.
• Must be able to prepare plans and drawings, selecting materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction.
• Must be able to Setout and install hardscape and softscape structures.
• Must be able to construct gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, pergolas, ponds, barbecues and garden furniture.
• Following Health & Safety procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
• Must be able to examine trees to assess their condition and determine treatment.
• Must be able to lopping limbs off trees and shaping branches using chain and handsaws
• Must be able to spray and dust plants and trees to control insects and disease and felling diseased trees.
• Must be able to plan and construct garden landscapes.

Remuneration $29 per hour (As per market standards)

Minimum 30 hours of contract.
