• We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive individual to support teaching, research, and commercial activities in Civil Engineering. Based within the School of Engineering, you will play a vital role in enabling hands on learning and contributing to the successful delivery of academic and externally funded research projects.This is a dynamic, hands-on position ideal for someone with a passion for engineering, precision, and collaborative problem solving. Your expertise will help drive innovation and excellence across our educational and research programmes.Salary will be based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), primarily based at our Frankton satellite laboratory and the main Hamilton campus.For more information on the role please see the . You hold a relevant trade qualification or have equivalent practical experience and a higher level tertiary qualification. Your ability to work independently and communicate effectively, will enable you to support teaching and research activities productively.You're confident working with tools, rigging, lifting, and scaffolding equipment, and you take pride in doing things properly and safely. Your solid troubleshooting and maintenance skills, combined with a proactive approach and attention to detail, make you a reliable and valued team member.
