Assistant Engineer (Cadet) | Kaiawhina Kaipūkaha

About the role

As an Assistant Engineer (Cadet), you'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning on the job while completing your studies over four years. We'll fully support your development by covering course costs, providing mentoring, and giving you the opportunity to apply your learning directly to real-world projects.

About you

To succeed in this role you should possess the following :

  • Motivated to build a career in engineering
  • Keen to learn and develop both technically and personally
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Able to balance study with work commitments
  • Holds (or is working towards) NCEA Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent), with strengths in maths and science
