## Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleWe are offering two secondment / fixed term opportunities for talented Investigators to join our high-performing Cartels team. These roles are available until the end of June 2026, based in either our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington) offices.

- Working primarily with the Cartels, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary project team, where your experience will be valued as you investigate alleged breaches of the teams' relevant Act.Our Cartels team is responsible for investigating possible cartel conduct under the Commerce Act, both as a civil and criminal offence. We work closely with businesses and consumers around what cartel conduct is and how to avoid it.Reporting to a Principal Investigator, you will gather and analyse complex information, conduct interviews of witnesses, investigated persons and companies, and apply legal principals to information in order to find out whether laws may have been broken. You will enjoy the challenge of confidently project managing multiple pieces of work. As a skilled communicator, you will be able to provide information to consumers and businesses so that they understand their rights or obligations.You will be someone who enjoys the challenge of confidently project managing multiple pieces of work. The added benefit of the role is that you'll work alongside technical experts who will mentor and guide you through your career.The indicative salary range for an Investigator is $91,432 - $107,567 plus 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects their individual skills, experience, and internal relativities across the organisation.
