      You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways

      Auckland peer-led support team, this is a service that is an alternative to

      hospital admission and can house up to 12 guests, working in a team of peer

      support specialists – all with a common purpose to support people experiencing

      mental illness.

      This is a fixed-term role until end of June 2026. You will be working Tuesday – Saturday, 11pm –

      7 : 30am. Based in Papatoetoe, Auckland.

      You | Mōu :

      We are interested to hear from peers with a period of wellness and work

      in a recovery-focused way for our Tupu Ake service.

      You’ll also have :

    • A current Peer Employment Training or Intentional Peer Support Training
    • Completion of WRAP training, including WRAP at work
    • A New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or be currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent
    • Knowledge of the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights
    • An understanding of and commitment to the principles of recovery
    • Lived experience of mental illness
    • Knowledge of mental health and NGO sector development
    • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
