Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which New Zealand plays a critical role.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a National Account Manager to join our team. This role will be based in Auckland.

Position Overview

The National Account Manager in New Zealand is responsible for increasing market share and sales by developing and leading strategic joint business plans with key Electrical and Department store customers. This dynamic role involves fostering strong customer relationships and driving growth through the oversight of assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional plans. You'll be at the forefront of creating and implementing strategies that leverage sales-related insights, industry standards, and new developments to ensure alignment and encourage continuous growth.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do :

  • Develop and lead annual joint business plans with several of our key customers.
  • Sell and lead the assortment strategy, pricing and promotional plan for several key customers in the Electrical and Department store channel Devise strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales and share growth.
  • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Working closely with the marketing, customer service and demand planning teams to champion your customers growth and ensure highest customer service.
  • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly / monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and promotion effectiveness.
  • Willingness to lead expanded customers base and growth opportunities as new customers / channels are identified.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 3-5 years National Account Management experience.
  • You have prior experience in the Electrical channel.
  • Proven track record of budget delivery and sales growth.
  • You possess a solid understanding of customer commercials and trade finance.
  • You have a self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a high level of attention to detail including a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • You are a creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in matrix environments and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
