At SmartGrass, we reshape backyards, school grounds, sports courts, and public spaces using the best artificial grass in the country.

But it’s not just about the grass.

The excavation.

The earthmoving.

It’s a mix of landscaping, civil, and creative problem solving — building the foundation, shaping the area, installing with care, and leaving it looking mint.

We take ordinary spaces and turn them into something awesome.

And we do it as a team — usually crews of 2 to 3 — sharp, switched-on, and out to do a top job.

We’re hiring for two roles :

Installation Specialists

You’ll be hands-on. Learning fast. Using tools. Helping prep, shape, cut, and finish each site. You don’t need turf experience — but prior experience in building, landscaping, or a similar trade is preferred.

Installation Managers

You’ve led small teams or jobs before, and you’re ready to step into a leadership role.

You’ll be trusted to run your own sites — managing the quality, pace, and performance of your crew.

You’ll get a vehicle for personal use and the full backing of our ops team.

Every job’s different.

One day you’re creating a dream lawn for a young family.

Next, it’s a full playground or a school sports upgrade.

Then it’s a golf project or something epic in a public space.

It’s physical work — but rewarding.

You’ll be outside. You’ll be moving. You’ll see the results fast.

You’ll be working with a crew that’s into more than just the work.

Some are into snowboarding, rugby, running, or golf.

A few hit the gym after work (even though they probably don’t need to).

Others are all about time with friends and family, or just enjoy good banter and watching the game.

Different interests — same work ethic.

Our crew has come from all sorts of trades :

Auto techs, landscapers, digger ops, flooring, project coordination — even straight out of school.

Some had experience.

Most just had the right attitude and wanted to be part of something with more purpose, more pride, and more potential.
