In this role you will expand WTW’s Health & Benefits (H&B) presence in the New Zealand market and build on recent success in growing our market share whilst maintaining a portfolio of existing clients. The role requires an experienced Sales Professional who is familiar with the New Zealand Health & Benefits market and has extensive experience in Group Risk Insurance and / or Private Health Insurance.

The Role

  • Develop and implement a sales plan for Health and Benefits in New Zealand to achieve new business targets.
  • Provide high-quality service and support to existing Health and Benefits clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders, representing WTW with professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with General Insurance Brokers across New Zealand offices to integrate Health and Benefits solutions into existing and prospective client portfolios, including through Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Foster strong internal relationships with the New Zealand Leadership Team, the Head of Health and Benefits New Zealand, other members of the Health and Benefits team, and the broader Pacific team across all lines of business.

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Industry-related qualifications (Level 5) and a relevant business degree are desirable.
  • Proven ability to drive sales initiatives, identify opportunities, and successfully close deals.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small Health and Benefits (H&B) sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of successful sales processes, with experience in Group Risk and Group Medical considered highly valuable.
  • Demonstrated sales and client service experience within the Health and Benefits or related markets.
  • Established professional network and sound understanding of the New Zealand financial and employee benefits market.
