This role is responsible for the smooth and timely unloading of inbound line-haul trucks and the reloading of freight bound for our South Island customers.
We're looking for a team player who is comfortable working across Thursday to Sunday and are committed to keeping freight moving efficiently and safely.The Role InvolvesUnloading inbound glass line-haul units from the North Island in a safe and timely mannerSorting and reloading freight—such as glass frail and trolleys—for regional South Island deliveriesChecking freight documentation for accuracy and maintaining clear recordsA minimum of 32 hours per week, across Thursday to SundayExcellent working conditions in a well-equipped logistics centreWe Are Searching For Someone Like You, Who HasCurrent F endorsement + OSH Certificate is preferred but training can be provided for the right personMinimum Class 1 licence, Class 4 is advantageousHigh attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that all freight is handled correctlyA good understanding of safe loading practices and transport legislationImpeccable safety standardsA positive and flexible attitudeThis role supports our South Island distribution network and plays a key part in keeping our customers supplied and satisfied.
