Overview

Be a member of our team and work within an organization that is known as New Zealand’s most trusted home improvement store. Mitre 10 Mega Mt. Wellington is a dynamic and growing company, with a vision to provide great quality products and the best value and expertise to enable our customers to have an affordable and easy DIY experience. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, involving direct customer interaction, checkout sales, and handling various ad-hoc situations that arise daily.

Responsibilities

Providing the highest standard of customers service.
Ensuring all checkout transactions are processed quickly and efficiently.
Ensuring security procedures are followed.
Ensuring department presentation is well maintained.
Willing to \"go that extra mile\" for our customers.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous retail experience at the checkout as Cashier or in a similar role is essential.

Experience in working at Customer Service desk would be seen as favorable.

Cheerful personality, enthusiastic and with a GREAT SMILE.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekend work.

Professional and mature approach to the job at hand.
