Overview

Are you a skilled flooring professional or labourer looking for more responsibility and variety in your day-to-day work? We're looking for reliable and experienced Carpet & Vinyl Layers who are ready to step into a Foreman-style role—combining hands-on installation with operational support from the office. Additionally, we are looking for keen individuals with a genuine interest in flooring and a strong labouring background to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

  • Installing carpet, vinyl, and vinyl planks in residential and commercial spaces
  • Preparing subfloors, cutting and fitting materials, and delivering high-quality finishes
  • Supervising job sites and performing quality checks
  • Coordinating with builders, contractors, and clients
  • Assisting with daily job tracking, scheduling, and light paperwork
  • Stepping in with tools when the team is short-staffed
  • Representing the company professionally on every project

    • What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in flooring or very strong general labouring experience
  • Confident, honest, and able to lead by example
  • Capable of working independently while following clear directions
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Full NZ Driver's Licence required
  • Comfortable working on a variety of sites, including residential new builds and commercial jobs
  • Someone who values a respectful, down-to-earth team culture

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday : 7 : 00am - 5 : 00pm
  • Friday : 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm
